Massimo is the leader of the Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in EMEA. Since joining McKinsey in 1999, Massimo has worked across the spectrum of strategy and corporate-finance topics, advising clients on issues from M&A and merger management to growth strategy, risk management, and restructuring.
Recent projects have included a number of M&A and postmerger-management engagements in universal banking, asset management, and securities services, as well as cross-border M&A, IPOs, and breakups for midsize banks. Massimo has also supported the turnaround plan of a global utility and several M&A deals for energy companies.
With expertise well beyond M&A, Massimo has also recently guided universal banks in overall strategy, restructuring, capital optimization, and growth. Additionally, he has developed international growth strategies with both wealth-management firms and corporate and investment banks.
Prior to coming to McKinsey, Massimo worked in M&A for both Citibank Salomon Smith Barney and KPMG Corporate Finance.
