Kevin leads the Global Operations Practice and leads the Operations Practice in North America. Prior to this role, he led McKinsey’s Travel, Transport & Logistics Practice and our Global Purchasing and Supply Management service line.
Since joining McKinsey in 1996, Kevin has counseled clients across multiple sectors on long-term strategy, operational effectiveness, business building, and organization. Examples of his work include:
- leading the multiyear, integrated performance transformations of multiple global enterprises
- leading the development and execution of multiple purchasing and supply-management transformation programs in sectors including industrial products, transportation, automotive and assembly, software and services, and hospitality
- executing a design-to-cost/integrated-cost-reduction effort for a major high-tech manufacturer’s largest growth platform
Prior to joining McKinsey, Kevin worked at Ford Motor Company across a variety of strategic and operational areas. He also spent a portion of his pre-McKinsey career with General Electric’s aircraft-engine business.
Born and raised in Okemos, Michigan, Kevin holds an MBA from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in materials and logistics management from Michigan State University.
