About Hyejin

Hyejin leads the Organization Practice and Innovation initiative in our Korea office. She is also a core member of the Asia Organization Practice and Energy & Materials Practice globally.

Hyejin has extensive experience in designing and implementing multi-year corporate-wide transformation programs, which include re-setting the group portfolio strategy, guiding operational turnaround, and implementing organizational changes. She has also had experience in cross-border strategic alliances, M&A, post-merger management (PMM), and setting up the global organization for Korean and Asian conglomerates.

Prior to working at McKinsey, Hyejin was the Executive Managing Director at Doosan group, where she deepened her expertise in corporate transformation and cross-border PMM. At Doosan, she led the Strategic Planning group, in charge of corporate strategy, corporate branding, and PMM for cross-border M&As and change management.

Hyejin is a recognized thought leader on business and social issues, particularly those relating to Organization and Future Planning. She is a member of the Future Planning Committee of Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning and also co-leads the corporate culture improvement initiative with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
