About Helmut

Helmut is the global leader of McKinsey’s Corporate Banking Practice. He helps banks worldwide to address issues concerning regulatory impact, business model redesign, performance enhancement, reorganization, process optimization, talent management, and merger management. Helmut has also advised wholesale banks and financial institutions in Europe on strategy and organization.

His recent client engagements include working with a number of European wholesale banks on credit risk, restructuring, and crisis management; developing a corporate strategy with a retail bank; and helping with pricing and commercial productivity for a consumer lender.
