Glenn leads McKinsey’s network of more than 2,000 knowledge professionals, who are located in more than 90 cities in 40 countries. He joined the firm in 1994 with a long-term vision for the Knowledge Network, and he has dedicated his career to driving fundamental change in the way McKinsey serves its clients through the deployment of knowledge professionals. With the close collaboration and support of his colleagues, Glenn has led the development of what is today the world’s premier network of knowledge professionals—and a primary pillar of McKinsey’s approach to client service.
As a fundamental step in this ongoing effort, Glenn helped pioneer the offshoring of business-research services to Costa Rica, India, and Poland. He helps shape and drive McKinsey’s knowledge strategy, and serves as chief talent officer for the firm’s knowledge professionals—from recruiting and learning to evaluation, compensation, and mobility.
Glenn currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Business at James Madison University.
