About Giorgio

Giorgio is a senior partner, based in the London office. He fulfils a number of leadership roles for the firm in the United Kingdom, Europe, and globally. Currently, he leads McKinsey’s global energy and material work in the United Kingdom and Ireland and the oil-field service and equipment work globally. He is also a leader of the Global Oil & Gas Practice, and the Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in EMEA.

Giorgio works to improve the performance of clients across the globe, primarily in the oil and gas and the oil-field service and equipment sectors. He serves clients across a wide spectrum of topics, including strategy and corporate finance, growth, mergers and acquisitions or alliances, gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), operations and capex efficiency, and organization.

Examples of Giorgio’s recent work include the following:

  • leading a major transformation for a global leading oil-field service and equipment company, including performance improvement, M&As, and post-merger management
  • designing upstream capex optimization and operational-performance-improvement programs for major global and European oil and gas companies
  • developing global LNG customer and commercial strategy for a leading national oil company in the Middle East
