About David

David is a partner in McKinsey‘s Zurich office. He serves leading companies in the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, basic materials, and other industries on topics in strategy, organization, and mergers and acquisitions. He has worked with clients in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.

David frequently advises global corporations on large-scale productivity programs and the transformation of support functions. He also focuses on growth and portfolio strategy and has worked on multiple M&A topics, including due diligence and post-merger integration.

David has led our work on comprehensive productivity programs for several healthcare companies, including a major pharmaceutical player and a global medical device company. He has also led the assessment of strategic growth opportunities for a leading biotech company and supported one of the largest acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industry.

Before joining McKinsey, David started, grew, and sold a business in the entertainment industry. He holds a BA and MA from the University of St Gallen in quantitative economics and finance.
