Bryony is a leader in both the Healthcare Systems & Services and Public Sector practices. She joined McKinsey in London, where she served a range of private- and public-sector healthcare and pharmaceutical clients across Europe and Africa. Since moving to the United States, she has primarily served private-payor and state clients.
Her recent client work includes helping develop a local market strategy for a single-state payor, focused on provider partnerships and capabilities to succeed in a post-reform environment. She also performed an assessment of joint-venture opportunities between a large commercial hospital system and a national payor, which would reduce costs and improve quality of care in two key markets.
In the public sector, Bryony’s experience includes helping develop a portfolio-optimization strategy for a government agency, identifying the projects and processes to invest in over the next 5 years. She has also assessed the opportunities in managed care for an American state with an estimated 5 percent total cost reduction.
