Since joining McKinsey in 2007, Anton has extensively served national and international oil and gas companies in the areas of upstream strategy development, production asset operation improvement, digital transformation, operating model development and agile ways of working implementation.
Examples of Anton’s recent client work includes the following:
- designing and implementing a wholistic transformation—commercial, site operations, and procurement—for a refinery and petrochemical complex in Southeast Asia
- creating the organization transformation and workforce productivity improvement program across upstream value chain for offshore operator in Southeast Asia
- building the vision for upstream strategy and portfolio to ensure sustainability in energy transition for an oil and gas company with assets in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia
- contracting strategy for oil platform construction in the Caspian sea
- accelerating the commissioning and start of operation for an oil platform in Arctic
- leading transformation programs, including production increase, operational-expenditure and capital expenditure optimization for oil production assets in Europe, China, and the Middle East
- designing and implementing the new operating model in upstream, including roles and responsibilities of divisions across the value chain, responsibility split between HQ and assets, large capital project governance, engineering and R&D management, and upstream portfolio management
Prior to joining McKinsey, Anton worked as a senior project engineer focusing on improving technologies on hydraulic fracturing and multiphase flow metering.
