Aneesh focuses on M&A, transformations, and growth strategy, primarily in the health-insurance segment. He has served leading national and regional health plans and systems (including for-profit payers), integrated delivery networks, regional payers, and providers. Over the last few years, he has worked on several mergers, including some of the largest in healthcare globally. He also coleads the transformations and post-acute care work for the Healthcare Practice in North America. Aneesh has also been leading the firm’s thinking on the impact of a downturn on healthcare organizations and strategies to build resilience in a downturn for healthcare organizations.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • leading a comprehensive transformation of one of the largest healthcare payers globally
  • leading a merger-management effort for one of the largest transactions in healthcare
  • leading transformations of several regional payers, providers, and healthcare-services organizations
  • leading several mid-size mergers of healthcare organizations with combined revenues of $5 billion to 15 billion

Aneesh joined McKinsey as an associate partner in 2014. Prior to working at McKinsey, he was a principal at a global consulting firm, where he served several hospitals and health systems on both operational and strategic issues.
