About Ali

Ali leads McKinsey's Public, Social and Healthcare sectors in Turkey and has special expertise in localization and economic development strategies. He is a core leader of the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice, serving a range of clients on topics covering economic development, organizational and operational transformation, growth strategy, and financial sustainability across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Examples of his recent work include:

  • supporting a multi-year big data and real-world evidence transformation at a major pharmaceutical company including strategy, global operating model, analytic platforms and use case portfolio
  • assisting a leading biopharma client to build distinctive competitive advantage through Big Data capabilities in R&D
  • leading a multi-year technology and operations transformation at a large regulatory agency
  • developing the go-to-market strategies for a leading health technology company

Prior to joining McKinsey, Ali worked at the John Hopkins School of Medicine as a researcher in medical imaging. Ali holds a MHS in health finance and management and MSc in electrical and computer engineering at John Hopkins Schools of Public Health and Engineering. He has a BSc in electrical and electronics engineering at Bogazici University in Turkey.
