Alexandra is one of the leaders in McKinsey’s Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products Practice in Europe. Since joining McKinsey, she has worked extensively in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry across a broad range of topics, such as R&D, medical affairs, growth strategies, organization, operations, marketing and sales, and digital and analytics. She has deep expertise in accelerating the performance of biotech companies across these topics.

Alexandra is passionate about improving the performance of R&D and medical affairs. Her work in the field spans organization design, defining strategies, accelerating asset development, and implementing digital innovation.

Examples of her recent work include the following:

  • helping a clinical-stage biotech accelerate their clinical trial
  • defining the digital strategy and digital lighthouse initiatives for a leading pharmaceutical company
  • focusing on customer experience design to define an innovative go-to-market model for product launch

Alexandra also has extensive experience in organizational transformations. She has led various operating-model transformations and capability-building efforts in large and midsize pharmaceutical companies.
