The Geneva office, opened in 1962, was the first McKinsey office in
continental Europe. The Zurich office opened in 1966. In recent years, the Swiss
office has led the opening of office in Athens (2000).
The Swiss office is an international place where over 30 percent of our
consultants come from other countries and over half speak at least three
languages. We serve more than half of the companies listed on the Swiss Market
Index on a wide range of local and international issues.
