Welcome to McKinsey Knowledge Center, India.

As I step back and look at the journey from 1999 to date, the milestones we have covered are significant.

Through continuous innovation and experimentation we have built and will continue to build significant capabilities for the firm, be it launching a shared service model like Generalist Research (Knowledge-on-Call), establishing a hub for specialized capabilities like Analytics, or piloting distinctive knowledge services through centers of competence. This progress has only been possible because of the combined zeal and entrepreneurial capabilities of each McKC member.

As we look to the future we see the role of the knowledge function within our firm evolving rapidly. Knowledge-based insights and delivery capabilities are increasingly becoming key differentiators in the value we deliver. This is creating even more compelling opportunities for the knowledge professionals to develop and contribute.

We at McKC, India are very excited about contributing to this revolution within our firm. In addition, we look forward to continuing to play a lead role in the development of the knowledge industry in India.
