The assessment process typically consists of three stages:
Round 1 – Initial Screening Round
This round could be either a face-to-face or telephonic interview. The objective is three fold:
To familiarize ourselves with your background and overall candidature
To understand and match your skills, area of expertise, and experience with our requirements
To assess overall fit within our team and organization culture
Round 2 – Functional Knowledge Round All candidates who make it through the
initial screening round, will undergo a 45-minutes to 60-minutes interview focused on
their area of specialization or specific industry experience. This round will
give you an opportunity to talk about yourself and your accomplishments and
relate them to the role you have applied for. You could also be put through
specific business scenarios to evaluate the same.
Round 3 – Final Round This
is approximately a half-day assessment event consisting of:
Interviews focused on personal experience
Business situation/case interviews
Advanced problem-solving test
The above interview rounds are designed to give you a greater understanding of life as a McKinsey analyst and give us an opportunity to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for.
Detailed information about the second and final rounds will be provided once candidates qualify through the initial screening process.
