Business analysts play a key role in data gathering, contributing to the team's final recommendations, and presenting their work to senior client executives. They also have a voice in determining the team's style and pace of work.

After the program, business analysts often pursue advanced degrees or launch new careers. Many business analysts with M.B.A.s and other advanced degrees return to McKinsey as associates.
