Meet McKinsey on
campus
Before applying, it is important that you are familiar
with our values and working principles. We hold a number of informal meetings,
called "Meet McKinsey", at the campuses we recruit from. These usually
range from interview workshops and coffee chats to formal pre-placement
presentations. At these events you are likely to meet people with similar
profiles who have been successful with the firm.
Meet McKinsey on "batch days"
When industry
professionals or experienced hires apply to McKinsey, they are invited to a
preliminary phone discussion. This provides the candidate a chance to learn and
ask questions about our work and allows us to assess candidature. Promising
candidates are invited to a "batch day" or a recruiting day where the candidate
has a chance to meet and interact with several interviewers, including
partners.
