Junior Associate Program:
The junior associate role is a pre-associate role. Junior associates normally spend 1 or 2 years developing broader business skills before progressing to an associate role without a break in their McKinsey career.

Junior associates take responsibility for a discrete part of the problem solving for each client engagement. They play a key role in data gathering, contribute to the team's final recommendations, and present their work to senior client executives. They have a voice in determining the team's style and pace of work.

Summer Program:
The summer program in India is only open to candidates from our select MBA campuses, without exceptions. The summer program is usually held during the between-year breaks of MBA schools. The program provides an opportunity to experience consulting first hand at McKinsey.

Business Analyst Program:
The Business Analyst Program is usually a two year program after which analysts are encouraged to pursue an MBA or advanced degree.

As a business analyst, you work on client projects and help solve important management problems. You perform analytical work, participate in meetings, and act as a full-team member. You have the opportunity to learn more about how to solve challenging problems and become a leader. Most of all, you meet and work with outstanding and inspiring people who can help you to develop your professional and interpersonal skills.

Interviews for the BA position are typically held in December and January for which we accept applications from April to December.
