If you are a campus student:
- You are required to apply on-line or through your
campus placement program.
- Short-listed candidates are sent a personalized
booklet of information on McKinsey.
- Round 1 consists of two case-based interviews.
You do not need prior business knowledge for these interviews. If you can deal
creatively with complex problems and structure your thinking logically within
a reasonable amount of time, you are well on your way.
- If successful in Round 1, you will go through a second round of case-based
and personal interviews and meet with at least two partners before an offer is
made to you.
If you are an experienced candidate:
- You will receive a call from our recruiter, providing some
information about the firm, relevant practice and the way we work.
- You will be invited to one or two phone interviews.
- If successful, you will be invited to a batch day or a day-long interview
process. On batch day, a candidate may go through a minimum of two or a
maximum of six interviews. Batch day candidates are also required to take the
McKinsey Initial Problem-Solving Test.
