Our recommendation encompassed a wide range of issues related to our client's e-banking activities. We drew up the bank's strategy vis-รก-vis upcoming technology developments that could help the bank enlarge its on-line service offering. We helped the bank to design Web sites targeting specific customer segments and deal with issues related to launching the bank's own "e-brand."
Client team members played an important role in finalizing the recommendation. As wide organizational acceptance is key to successful implementation, their buy-in and support were critical.
Instruments for Improvement Our team was also able to create a number of instruments to help our client put into practice the proposed strategic moves. These included an implementation timeline as well as an organizational framework for Web site maintenance and continuous enhancement. With the assistance of our client team members, we also drew up a budget for the necessary IT development.
As usual, we prepared a PowerPoint "pack" for the final presentation in front of the client's board. The team wrote this pack with a host of inputs from the client team members, who were particularly helpful with emphasis and message. The board welcomed our recommendations as charting a course of expansion whereby the bank could maintain its pre-eminent position in the e-banking market in Hungary.
