Our Projects - Inspiring Challenges

Each engagement provides a potential opportunity to work on something you've never tried before. Many of us are generalists who are plunged into engagements dealing with industries or functions with which they have minimal experience. But with the support of our training, the Budapest office, and our global knowledge network, we are ready to take on almost any problem.

There is no such thing as a "typical" McKinsey study. However, our work does have some common characteristics. We always work in teams, which, in addition to three to five McKinsey consultants, include senior client management. We often draw on our firm's extensive global knowledge base, and maintain a disciplined problem solving methodology, such as regularly stepping back to consider all implications of an issue.

To follow a McKinsey project and get a greater sense of the kind of work we do, choose one of the studies featured below.
