Women in Leadership Scholarship
Australian Opportunity
McKinsey & Company in Australia is proud to offer their annual scholarship for Women in Leadership. Open to female students in their penultimate year
of university, it is designed to help them plan for their final year. One winner will be awarded $15,000 and the opportunity to intern with our Australian
office.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship you must be:
- A female student in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or graduate degree
- An Australian or New Zealand citizen or resident
- In the top 5% of your class
- A leader who can bring people together to drive positive change within organisations
- A problem solver who relishes a challenge
- A great communicator, in person and in writing.
Applications
To apply for the scholarship you must submit:
- A one page cover letter that demonstrates how you meet the eligibility requirements
- Your Curriculum Vitae
- An official copy of your academic transcripts.
Applications must be emailed to:sheridan_kerr@mckinsey.com. A shortlist of applicants will be invited to
interview once applications are closed.
Key dates
- 28 July 2013 – Deadline for final applications at midnight
- Throughout August 2013 – Interviews for shortlisted candidates commence
- January 2014 – Summer internship commences.
Please note: Students who hold scholarships from other management consulting firms are not eligible to apply.
