Andreas Tobler is a director of McKinsey and the office manager of the
Athens office of McKinsey.
Andreas joined McKinsey in Switzerland in 1990 and was
elected director in 2003. He has been serving Greek companies since 2002 and
permanently moved to Athens in
January 2005.
Andreas is one of the core experts within McKinsey’s
Global Telecom Practice. He is also a member of the global committee of McKinsey
which decides on new partner elections and evaluations. In his client work, he
has a strong focus on the telecom sector, but has also served clients from other
infrastructure sectors like electricity utilities and railways, as well as from
heavy industry.
Andreas holds a degree in electronic engineering, with
special studies in communications and network technology, from the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ). He also holds a an M.B.A. from INSEAD in
Fontainebleau, France.
