Our Offices
McKinsey in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg
The first McKinsey office to open in the Benelux area was our Amsterdam location in 1964. In fact, the very first engagements in Belgium were all done from the Amsterdam office. In 1981, to help handle the workload, the Brussels location opened with seven consultants. Over the past two decades the Brussels office has exploded in size.
While our growth has presented many exciting opportunities, we were concerned that we were in danger of losing the small-office spirit that we had in 1981. Thus, in 1999 we opened the Antwerp location, in 2000 the Louvain-La-Neuve location, and in 2004 the Luxembourg location. As a result we have retained much of our small feel but also have the critical mass needed to serve our clients.

Antwerp The Antwerp location opened in 1999. The office overlooks the tranquil banks of the river at Cockerillkaai. |

Brussels The Brussels location opened in 1980. Nine years later, we moved into the landmark ITT tower at the end of the famous Avenue Louise. |

Luxembourg Our Luxembourg office opened in May 2004 in the Avenue Monterey. The modern glass façade at the heart of Luxembourg City is in contrast to the more traditional buildings in this area. |
