From both our Louvain-La-Neuve and Amsterdam locations, more than 50 knowledge professionals provide consulting teams in the region with the information and research needed for client service engagements.

The members of the research team have diverse educational backgrounds, from master in engineering to law and from MBA to PhD. They have worked as economists, business administrators, political scientists, information scientists, and researchers. And their industry experience includes banking, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, mining, steel, electric power, natural gas, advertising, transport, public policy development and European institutions.

On a daily basis, our knowledge professionals:

• Provide consultants with in-depth economic or technical intelligence and expertise on their clients' industries

• Continuously develop perspectives and insights on the industries and functional areas we specialize in

• Manage McKinsey's internal knowledge by developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art intranet powered by sophisticated databases
