Kenji serves clients across a broad range of industries, supporting them as they undergo transformations to help them grow sustainably. He also brings in-depth experience in helping clients excel operationally and develop capabilities.

His recent engagements include:

  • helping a Japanese company in the logistics industry transform its performance through operational optimization and sales enhancement
  • advising a leading manufacturer on the development of a new business strategy in an entirely new sector
  • reviewing a public-sector client’s procurement process and supply-chain management

Kenji leads our Manufacturing Practice in Japan and supports plant-wide productivity improvement in large manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. As a core member of McKinsey’s Operations Practice, he also has a wealth of expertise in capital productivity, procurement and supply management, and service operations. Kenji is the partner sponsor of recruiting for McKinsey in Japan.
