Help create optimal environments in which to promote economic development projects. We use a suite of data analytics tools and strategies to advise on economic development globally among four categories: economic opportunity, municipal productivity, social welfare, and city development.

Partner with governments globally to transform social payment programs through employment, pensions, fraud and debt, disability, and veterans services.

Support public sector organizations meet their national net zero transition aspirations, often including, reducing emissions, ensuring affordability of energy and materials, providing reliable and secure energy systems, assessing climate risk and driving climate adaptation.

Partner with government agencies and other stakeholders to address growing capacity demand and the most critical issues across the transportation value chain to realize sustainable operational, capital, and economic impact.

Provide a deep understanding of power markets, renewable dynamics, and power modeling, supported by extensive research in the space to capitalize on trends for the betterment of the public and support government’s transition to sustainable energy.

Support state and local governments in developing plans to invest in closing the digital divide among their populations and access federal funds, implementing strategies to bridge the digital divide, and driving digital equity.

Support the public sector with water networks across countries by ensuring operational excellence, capital productivity, and strategies to deliver best-in-class water ecosystems.

We supported the development of four clean energy technology demonstration and deployment strategies for a national department of energy (DoE). The DoE’s goal for this effort was to catalyze capital formation of more than $100 billion for each of the four technologies while effecting a 20 percent overall nationwide emissions reduction. This entailed broadly engaging industry and developing analytical models to better understand the impact on carbon goals, potential paths to commercial scale, barriers, and possible solutions for each technology (clean hydrogen, long-duration energy storage, advanced nuclear technology, and carbon management technologies), and helping foster private sector investment and action.

Since 2019, we have partnered with Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, to support local businesses at every growth stage, in both conceptualizing and providing advisory support for the multiple cohorts of the program. Through the program, we have worked with small-to medium-size local companies to sharpen their strategies, develop a viable business growth plan, and support the implementation of the companies’ key growth initiatives, including international expansion. Strategies are tailored to each company’s situation and growth stage. Since the launch, we have supported more than 40 companies spanning more than 30 sectors. Among all the participating companies, 85 percent launched new ventures, 50 percent entered new markets, and 68 percent achieved revenue growth.

We embarked on a rapid analytics project with a national welfare department to analyze and develop a detailed understanding of the subpopulations experiencing persistent disadvantages. We also identified linkages to actionable intervention themes. Initially, the welfare department had identified a lack of analytical evidence for effective decision making. Through this work, we created a foundation to further build evidence and actionability, with next steps to incorporate further data and additional analyses and develop a collaborative infrastructure to design impactful solutions, including combining the insights with inputs from policy experts.
