Michael Patsalos-Fox

Michael Patsalos-Fox is McKinsey's Chairman of the Americas Region. Earlier roles include leadership of the New York office, the North American Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice, our New Jersey office, and the European Telecoms Practice. Patsalos-Fox also sits on McKinsey's shareholder committee, the senior governance body of the firm.

Patsalos-Fox, who moved to the U.S. from our London Office in 1996, has been with McKinsey for 23 years.  He has worked in a wide range of strategic, marketing, and operational areas across a large number of initiatives.

Recent client commitments include helping a major pharmaceutical company to choose a merger partner; working with a U.S. manufacturer of telecoms and data products to devise a corporate strategy; and assisting a European computer services-based business in entering a series of joint-venture multimedia initiatives.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Patsalos-Fox was employed by Fujitsu, Australia, in several technical marketing sales support and customer service positions.  He holds a B.Sc. in computer sciences and pure mathematics from Sydney University in Australia and an M.B.A. with distinction form IMEDE in Switzerland.
