World Economic Forum 2004 - Biography – Christian Caspar

Christian Caspar is a director in McKinsey's Zurich office and a leader of the Corporate Finance Practice. He is a member of the firm's shareholder committee, the senior governance body of the firm, and is chairman of the directors committee.

Caspar joined McKinsey in February 1975 and has since been involved in a wide range of restructuring, organizational, process redesign, and strategy engagements. Caspar has focused more recently on working with investment corporations and financial institutions to develop portfolio strategy, risk management, and retail banking development.

Before coming to McKinsey, Caspar was the head of research on international marketing at the Graduate School of Economics and Management, Linkoping University, and was an intelligence officer in the Swedish army. He holds a master's degree in marketing from the Stockholm School of Economics.
