Being part of the Panorama team means being on a continuous journey of improvement.

A uniquely supportive environment

I joined McKinsey’s Budapest office and Panorama team in 2010, and that was the best professional decision I ever made. Our team focuses on banking strategy and innovation. The mix of consultants and specialized colleagues, who develop our global knowledge hubs, makes the Budapest office unique. Being part of the Panorama team means being on a continuous journey of improvement. The office gives immense support to get the best out of everyone, even offering private tutors and coaching.

An astonishing variety of work

Although we focus on one industry—banking—the variety of work is astonishing, at locations around the globe. Within the same week, I prepared workshop materials for a client in North America, worked with the strategy team on an analysis of Panorama subscribers in London, and contributed to a flagship McKinsey banking report. One of my most rewarding experiences was finding articles in the Financial Times and Reuters quoting an analysis I had made a few weeks earlier for the McKinsey banking review.

Shape the future of your team

I’d encourage anyone to apply to McKinsey, either as a consultant or as part of a specialized unit. Budapest is a great location, and the friendly atmosphere makes it easy to work together. Here you can have a real impact on your clients. And you can find your voice and shape the future of your career and your team.
