Welcome to McKinsey’s HBS Web site. I am Ishaan Seth, a partner in our New York office, and I will be leading our recruiting efforts at Harvard Business School for the coming year. I graduated from Harvard College in 1996 and, following three years in investment banking, went on to HBS (Class of 2001). The firm has created a wealth of truly rewarding growth opportunities for me over my six years. After spending my first year in our London office, I moved back to New York, where I serve a range of clients in the financial institutions and professional services sectors. My clients include investment banks, brokerages, insurance companies, audit firms and law firms (though in my early years I served clients in a range of other industries as well!) From a topical and functional standpoint, I co-lead our CFO service line, and also do a lot of work in organizational strategy and offshoring/outsourcing. I have always tried to maintain a fairly broad "generalist" portfolio, and truly enjoy serving CEOs and senior executives on a wide range of their strategic priorities. Yet one of my most memorable experiences at the firm has been on the pro bono side, where I helped create and launch a non-profit organization focused on educating healthcare workers in Tanzania.
