About Rajit
Rajit heads McKinsey’s Southern California location and is a leader of McKinsey’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Practice.
Rajit helps pharmaceutical manufacturers and other healthcare companies address issues related to commercial sales and marketing strategy. These include salesforce effectiveness, brand strategy, and product life-cycle management. He has a particularly deep expertise in market-access-related topics such as pricing and contracting and reimbursement strategy. Finally, Rajit also helps his clients with their growth strategy, merger management, and broader organizational transformation programs.
Prior to McKinsey, Rajit spent time as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Among other ventures, he was a cofounder of one of India’s largest biotech companies and the founder/CEO of a Middle East–based retail chain of paint and building hardware products.
