About Paul
As leader of the North American Finance Transformation group and co-leader of the Corporate Finance Practice on the West Coast, Paul serves a wide variety of high-tech and telecom companies. Although his specialties are finance and finance strategy, Paul is also focused on the broad executive agenda and has led McKinsey's High Tech CEO Roundtable.
He has led reorganizations and process redesign efforts for several high-tech companies' finance functions to inject accountability into the organizations. Similarly, he has helped Fortune 100 companies develop new financial and strategic planning approaches to accelerate growth while maintaining regulatory compliance, and to evaluate implementation of offshore shared service centers to ensure continued high performance. He has also spearheaded post-merger integration in finance, sales and marketing, and other functional areas, and has supported deal strategy and M&A execution for companies in the networking, hardware, software, and storage tech subsectors.
Paul is a frequent contributor as author and industry expert to articles about the role of the CFO, the new CFO agenda, and consolidation in the technology sector. He also participates in industry forums exploring the evolving role of the CFO.
