About Eric
Eric is the managing partner of McKinsey’s West Coast offices which includes our Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Los Angeles locations. Since joining McKinsey, he has focused on serving high-tech and industrial clients across a broad range of topics. In addition to leading the West Coast offices, Eric leads McKinsey’s High Tech Enterprise Practice globally, is a core member of our Strategy Practice where he has played an important role in our Growth Service Line, and a leader in our Marketing and Sales Practice. He is also leading our initiative to serve emerging growth technology companies.
Eric’s client successes include leading a large-scale direct sales lean productivity program that generated 25% incremental sales gain across nearly 1000 sellers as well as shepherding development of a business unit strategy for a major passive electronics manufacturer, the integration of two large telecom equipment component suppliers, and the redesign of purchasing processes (direct and indirect) for a large high tech services provider.
Eric is a thought leader at McKinsey and speaks frequently to external groups as well on a variety high-tech topics. He recently presented insights on the future of cloud computing at a conference sponsored by the Financial Times.
Outside of McKinsey, Eric is a trustee of the Hopkins School in New Haven, CT, as well as a board member of the Business Council of Fairfield County (CT).
