About Elizabeth

In her role in Global Forces, Elizabeth has worked with a wide range of corporate and institutional clients, helping evaluate how the shifting global economic, social, and technological landscape is likely to affect both the opportunities and risks those clients may face in the future. Elizabeth is also a founder and co-leader of STAC, a center for advanced analytics in strategy, corporate finance, and macro-economics that provides clients with access to unparalleled data, analytics, and expertise.

She writes and presents extensively on these topics. Her work on broad macroeconomic trends has been shared at a wide range of high-profile forums, including at the G20, the White House weekly briefing, the National Intelligence Council, and the World Economic Forum.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Elizabeth co-authored RealAge: Are You As Young As You Can Be?, a consumer health book that went on to become both a No. 1 New York Times bestseller and winner of the Books for A Better Life Award for the best consumer health book of 1999. Elizabeth subsequently helped found online health publisher, RealAge.com, which was acquired by Hearst Communications. A former Fulbright scholar and Mellon fellow, she did doctoral work in cultural anthropology at the University of Chicago.
