About Tom
Tom is a director in the Atlanta office where his primary client focus is helping financial institutions and travel and transportation companies. Tom most recently supported an M&A engagement for a financial-investments firm, and contributed to a purchasing and supply-chain operations-improvement effort for an airline. He is also active in the social sector, helping an education client adopt a new organization design.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Tom serves as the global CFO of McKinsey, chairs its compensation committee, and is a member of the McKinsey’s operating committee. He is also vice chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
Before joining McKinsey Tom worked in corporate finance at First Boston Corporation and as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.
