About Thomas
Thomas is the managing director of McKinsey’s Southern offices, where he serves global energy, chemical, and technology clients. He is a leader in the Electric Power and Natural Gas (EPNG) Practice in North America and Europe, and the Firm’s global Oil & Gas Practice.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Thomas built and managed a technical consulting firm serving clients in Europe and Asia. During a stint in academia Thomas conducted research on various energy-related topics, contributed papers to several publications as well as co-authored books, and also served on several boards and working groups including state energy advisory councils.
