Infrastructure

McKinsey’s Infrastructure Practice works closely with clients to meet their most pressing challenges in transport, energy, social infrastructure (such as healthcare and education) and property. Our global network of experts help deliver practical and cost-effective solutions. In the past three years the Infrastructure Practice has undertaken more than 500 engagements around the world, serving 200 clients in emerging and developed markets.

We help clients to:

  • Make informed decisions about what to build, invest in and refurbish
  • Reduce the cost and time needed to refurbish or build infrastructure
  • Enhance the value of existing assets through better operations and lower cost.

Our expertise covers the entire process for infrastructure development: planning, financing, stakeholder management, design, delivery and ongoing operations. We also support clients on broader issues relating to strategy, organization design and operations improvement, such as IT, pricing and procurement.
