Kevin Sneader is the managing partner of McKinsey’s United Kingdom and Ireland offices and is based in London.

Since joining McKinsey as a business analyst in 1989, Kevin has worked in our London, Beijing, Hong Kong, New Jersey and Paris offices. The main focus of his consulting work is on serving the senior management of leading consumer and healthcare companies on a broad range of strategic and operational issues.

Kevin’s work has included supporting clients with a number of major acquisitions and subsequent post-merger integrations, helping launch new products, reconfiguring sales forces, simplifying global companies and developing growth strategies.

Kevin was one of the authors of the recent McKinsey report “From austerity to prosperity: Seven priorities for the long term,” which explored how the UK could improve its economic growth.

Kevin is the president of the British American Business organisation, a member of the London regional council of the CBI and a member of the Tech City Advisory Board.

A native of Glasgow, Kevin graduated with a first-class degree in law from the University of Glasgow and was a Fulbright scholar. He received an MBA with highest distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was also awarded the Dean’s prize for leadership.

Outside McKinsey, Kevin is involved in a number of philanthropic and social ventures and enjoys celebrating great Scottish sporting successes, which leaves plenty of time to spend with his wife and two daughters.
