About Angus
Angus Ridgway is a director in McKinsey’s London office and the leader of our Corporate Finance Practice and Strategy Practice in Europe. He primarily serves clients in the high-tech and telecom sectors on strategy issues involving disruptive technologies, go-to-market, post-merger management and corporate turnaround.
Angus’s recent projects include helping a global consumer electronics leader develop a strategy for its mobile services platform; advising a large European telecom operator on its corporate strategy and vision; assisting one of the world’s largest IT outsourcing companies with its European growth strategy; and supporting several European telcom companies with the development of mobile multimedia strategies to pursue opportunities in devices, content, gaming, advertising and other growth areas.
Before joining McKinsey, Angus worked in the London and Chicago offices of Andersen Consulting as an IT consultant focusing mainly on telecommunications. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in pure mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
