About Eric
Based in Geneva, Eric leads our work with retailers and consumer goods clients in Switzerland. He focuses mainly on operational and organizational topics and growth strategies.
Before joining McKinsey in 1987, Eric served as a line manager with General Motors and Alcatel. He has acted as a senior advisor to top managers in industries including retail, consumer goods, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, and has published an article on how Swiss drug makers could succeed in a globalizing industry. More recently, he has worked extensively with high-profile European department stores and leading Swiss consumer goods manufacturers on topics including operations, sales, and organization. He also assists clients with the development of growth strategies at the level of business units and product groups.
Eric cofounded McKinsey’s offices in Geneva and Casablanca and leads our client service and development activities across North Africa. Outside McKinsey, he serves as chairman of the Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art in Geneva and as vice-president of the Foundation for the Geneva Center for Contemporary Art.
