About Claudio
Claudio is a director in our Zurich office. He advises senior managers from some of the world’s leading companies and acts as global head of the Bower Forum, a McKinsey initiative to support leadership development for chief executives.
Claudio works extensively with clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and financial sectors. Among his recent projects, he has advised a global pharmaceutical company on a large-scale post-merger integration, supported a multinational insurer with a reorganization, and helped a European insurer develop its growth strategy.
Within McKinsey, Claudio founded the Athens office in 1999 and ran it for six years, developing our work with clients in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, and Cyprus. On his return he led our Swiss network, comprising offices in Zurich, Geneva, and Casablanca, for a six-year term.
In his 2011 book Serial Innovators: Firms that change the world, Claudio explores how organizations age and how they must evolve in dynamic markets by continuously reinventing themselves in order to survive.
