McKinsey is a place for people who enjoy testing themselves and solving problems. We’ve developed an interactive game called Team Leader that you can play to get an idea of the kind of issues we deal with and how we try to solve them.
Your role
In the game, you play the role of an engagement manager. Your task is to lead a team made up of consultants and clients from a fictitious company called Wang Fo that needs your help with a difficult problem.
Playing the game
Team Leader takes you through a number of work scenarios, asks you to make a series of decisions, and explains the issues you need to consider. Every time you make a decision, you get a score and an explanation of the trade-offs and implications involved in your decision. You also see the recommended decision so that you can compare it to your answer.
At the end of the game, you receive a score and you can see how other players have done.
