Apply as a fellow analyst

By launching your career at McKinsey, you’ll have an opportunity to make a difference in the world. You’ll work with a diverse group of highly motivated colleagues, join a global network, and build leadership skills that will last a lifetime.

At the beginning of your career we’ll provide you with extensive training for a fast start-up. Later we’ll offer you individualized training programs to help you develop specific skills.

Who should apply?

We welcome applications from people who have a bachelor’s degree with less than two years of professional experience and:

  • A very good academic record marked by strong analytical skills
  • Experience obtained through internships, time abroad, and extracurricular achievements
  • A desire for personal impact and a commitment to learning
  • Fluency in either French or German and an excellent command of English.

What fellow analysts do

As a fellow analyst, you’ll work on client projects and help to solve specific management problems. You’ll be a full team member and perform analytical work, participate in team meetings, and present your recommendations to senior client executives.

Fellow analysts are part of McKinsey’s fellow program. You’ll spend about three years developing broad business skills before taking educational leave to obtain your MBA, financially supported by McKinsey.

After spending about a year as a fellow analyst you’ll typically be promoted to fellow and start to manage bigger pieces of a project.
