About Vladimir
Vladimir has been with McKinsey’s Moscow office since 2005. He provides support to senior management of major companies and organizations on issues related to designing development strategy, increasing sales, launching new products, and pricing.
Vladimir is one of the leading McKinsey experts in telecom strategy and sales in Eastern Europe, as well as in relations with the public sector and non-governmental organizations in the CIS countries.
Recent projects in the telecommunications industry include: developing a growth strategy for a major integrated telecommunications operator and its business units in several countries; preparing and implementing a program aimed at increasing sales in the B2B and B2C segments; implementing an analytical sales profitability management system; and improving quality of customer service in remote interaction channels.
Projects in the public sector and for non-governmental organizations include: developing a growth strategy and an economic reforms program for the government in the CIS and the Middle East; designing a development concept, organization structure, and project portfolio for three non-governmental organizations in Ukraine; developing a pricing strategy and new ticketing solutions for major operators of urban passenger transportation in Russia; designing a sales channel development strategy for a major municipal public transit service provider.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Vladimir worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia as deputy director of the European Integration Department and deputy director of the Budget Department.
