About Dmitry
Dmitry joined McKinsey’s Moscow office in 2000. He focuses on business operations improvement for large industrial companies and has managed the implementation of large-scale projects aimed at increasing sales profitability and optimizing logistics costs. Dmitry is a leading expert on pricing and sales channel management in the B2B sector in Eastern Europe.
Some of his recent projects include helping to develop a comprehensive domestic-market sales profitability improvement program for a leading iron-and-steel company in Russia; developing and implementing a pricing system in micro-markets for the gas station network of one of the largest Russian oil companies; leading a comprehensive sales diagnostic and launching a sales profitability improvement program for an oil company in Central Europe; developing long-term fuel sales strategy for a Russian oil company; developing , piloting implementing and rolling-out a program aimed at increasing the share of premium sales channels for a Russian oil company; creating product development strategies and improving marketing and sales functional skills for a Russian chemical company.
His recent projects addressing logistics costs include: developing an implementation program aimed at optimizing the logistics costs of a Russian chemical company; developing a factory logistics improvement program for a major steel-pipe manufacturer, and support for its implementation.
Before joining McKinsey, Dmitry worked for UC RUSAL.
