Overview
The Evening/Night Visual Graphic Specialist creates and edits high-impact PowerPoint charts, consistent with McKinsey guidelines and format.
Role description:
- Manage PowerPoint production (typing charts and text, proofreading, copying, binding, and filing) and effectively interface with study teams
- Liaise with colleagues to manage production workflow to ensure that deadlines are met
- Proofread documents to ensure meeting quality standards
- Assist consultants in expressing their messages graphically and conceptually
- Create professional PowerPoint charts from hand-written notes
- Re-format/edit existing PowerPoint charts
- Work with non-standard client formats and re-create client formats based upon standard McKinsey templates
Desired skills:
- Inclination toward a detail-oriented job
- Excellent typing skills in Russian\Latin alphabets; touch-typing a plus
- Complete knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Confident in communicating with people at all levels of skill and tenure
- Possess a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience using graphics packages, e.g., Adobe Photoshop and Graphica; drawing and design skills a plus
- Ability to work late hours (from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on a shift basis at least 4 days per week)
Background/training:
Graduate or last-year university student, preferably with exposure to working with visual expression of data and graphics.
