About Luís

Luís is a director and the managing partner of the Lisbon office and co-leads the development of our work in Angola.

He has led numerous projects across Europe, Africa and the Americas, with particular focus on banking and insurance, working with major institutions to shape strategy and strengthen operations and organization.

Given the breadth of his exposure to financial services, Luís has participated in a variety of projects dealing with issues varying from turnaround programs in North America and Brazil and global direct banking plays, to innovative segmentation strategies in Portugal and entry strategies in several African countries.

Luís has also worked extensively with public sector clients. In the past, he has worked in areas such as energy and urban transit but most recently he has been helping with the Debate on Portugal’s core issues and its future sustainability. Finally, as part of his work in Africa, he is helping the Ministry of Finance of a major African country with a multi-year tax system transformation.
