Why I decided to apply
My study background is in electrical engineering, but I wanted to combine business and technology in my job. Therefore, first I needed to learn more about business. I’m now part of the Business Technology Office, where I am able to learn a lot about business while still applying my engineering knowledge.

My toughest day/moment
Experiencing a computer hard-drive crash while on an engagement in Africa. I literally had to fly back and forth to the Netherlands to get my computer fixed in order to be able to work again.
Activities outside McKinsey
I play field hockey on Thursdays and Sundays with a team of friends. Every other week I also join the McKinsey hockey team in the company hockey league.
Favorite restaurant in the Netherlands
I like the restaurant Red in Amsterdam, which serves only steak, lobster, or both. I always end up choosing the last option…
