Why I decided to apply
During a business course, McKinsey attracted my attention. I wanted to have a closer look and applied for an internship. By the end of the internship, the people and the positive atmosphere in the office had convinced me to accept the offer to return after graduating.

Proudest moment
I worked closely with a client for a couple of weeks to prepare a presentation and coached him on how to speak with confidence. Watching him deliver a convincing presentation in the boardroom, I felt really proud to see the progress he had made.
Most important lesson I learned from a client
The most important and difficult thing about giving advice is to make others feel they own the idea and activate them to support and spread your recommendation.
Skill I never thought I'd have
Speaking in front of a large audience.
Favorite restaurant/bar/club in the Netherlands
I like hanging out in bars with friends. On weekends, you will regularly find me in an area of Amsterdam known as De Pijp.

Pushing and challenging team members’ thinking in a constructive way—especially when this results in unexpected solutions for complex problems.
